Unlike traditional PVC floor mat production equipment, the product is optimized to handle TPE's unique properties, ensuring the final sheets have the perfect balance of elasticity, anti-slip performance, and durability required for automotive use.
At the heart of the TPE Automobile Floor Mat Extruder is its specialized screw design, featuring a 40:1 L/D ratio and mixed-element configuration that ensures thorough plasticization of TPE compounds (even those with high filler content, like 20% calcium carbonate for added stiffness). This screw design minimizes shear heat, preventing TPE degradation and preserving its eco-friendly properties-produced sheets are non-toxic (meeting REACH and RoHS standards), odorless, and 100% recyclable, making them compliant with global automotive environmental regulations.
The product's cooling system is another key feature: it uses a multi-roll calender with mirror-polished steel rolls (temperature-controlled at 20℃–40℃) that deliver uniform cooling to the TPE sheet. This ensures the sheet has a flat, smooth surface (ideal for subsequent embossing) and consistent thickness (0.5mm–5mm, with precision of ±0.03mm). The calender also applies controlled pressure to the sheet, enhancing its density and wear resistance-critical for floor mats that must withstand daily foot traffic and dirt accumulation.
To meet automotive design needs, the TPE Automobile Floor Mat Extruder supports embossing of various textures on the sheet surface, including grid patterns, diamond patterns, and custom brand logos. The embossing rolls are easy to replace (via quick-release clamps), allowing manufacturers to switch between textures in 1 hour or less-perfect for producing floor mats for different car models or trim levels.
