Hydrogel Dressing Extruder

 The Hydrogel Dressing Extrusion & Packaging Integrated Machine (commonly referred to as a hydrogel dressing extruder) is a fully automated, closed-system production line that integrates extrusion, forming, die-cutting, inspection, and sterile packaging-eliminating manual handling and contamination risks. Designed for compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO 13485, it's ideal for medical-grade hydrogel dressings made from CMC or alginate.

  Its precision extrusion module uses a medical-grade stainless steel screw and 4-zone temperature control (38–45°C) to maintain homogeneous hydrogel with 60–80% moisture content. A vacuum degassing unit removes air bubbles to ensure defect-free dressings.

 The hydrogel sheet is then formed and die-cut at up to 300 units/minute into customizable sizes (e.g., 5×5 cm or joint-contour shapes) with ±0.1 mm edge precision. Real-time ultrasonic thickness monitoring (0.3–1.0 mm, ±0.01 mm) ensures consistent absorption performance.

An embedded vision system inspects each dressing for defects like uneven thickness or impurities, automatically rejecting <0.5% of units. Qualified dressings move via a Class 100 sterile conveyor to the packaging station, where they're counted (1–10 per bag), sealed in sterile PE bags with tamper-evident seals, and labeled with batch info for full traceability.
