Hotmelt Adhesive Extrusion Machine
The Hotmelt Adhesive Extrusion Machine is a specialized, high-efficiency system designed exclusively for producing hotmelt adhesives used in packaging, woodworking, automotive, and crafts. Optimized for thermoplastic formulations like EVA, SBS, and APAO, it ensures consistent viscosity, bonding strength (5–8 MPa), and open time (30–120 seconds).
At its core is a high-torque screw (40:1 L/D ratio) with mixed-element design that fully melts and homogenizes polymers, tackifiers, waxes, and antioxidants-eliminating agglomerates and weak spots. A 6-zone PID temperature control system (140–190°C, ±1°C precision) prevents degradation or incomplete melting, tailored to formulation needs: EVA at 150–170°C, APAO at 170–190°C.
The machine supports multiple product forms via interchangeable dies: adhesive sticks (6–12 mm), granules (2×3 mm), or films (0.1–0.5 mm). A melt pump ensures ±2% flow accuracy for uniform dimensions-critical for glue gun compatibility or bubble-free lamination.
Cooling is application-specific: water-cooled conveyors rapidly cool sticks/granules (160°C → 40°C in 10 sec), while chill rolls (20–30°C) preserve film flexibility. Integrated cutters offer adjustable lengths (5–100 mm).
User-friendly and scalable, it features a touchscreen interface with real-time monitoring and 20+ stored recipes. A centralized lubrication system extends service life beyond 15,000 hours, while an inverter motor and heat recovery cut energy use by 18%.
