Maintenance Instructions for Plastic Molding Machines

Maintenance of plastic molding machines mainly includes three aspects: electrical control, mechanical components, and hydraulic system.

1. Electrical Control: Regularly check and replace relays: Traditional injection molding machines rely on contact relays, which are prone to failure due to contact wear and environmental factors. It is recommended to replace them with new ones after every million operations. For modern equipment, although contactless integrated circuits reduce wiring issues, a clean and dry environment is still necessary. Maintain circuit stability: Ensure stable circuit connections in the electrical control section to avoid short circuits and open circuits.

2. Mechanical Components: Regular lubrication: Regularly lubricate key components of the mechanical components to reduce wear and friction. Check fasteners: Check whether the head plate nuts and locking screws are loose, ensure even stress on the guide pillars to prevent breakage. Also, check the drive shaft and chain of the mold thickness adjustment mechanism for misalignment or looseness. Screw tightening and lubrication: Tighten key screws and ensure they are well lubricated.

3. Hydraulic System: Maintain hydraulic oil cleanliness: Select high-quality hydraulic oil and change and filter it regularly to maintain its cleanliness. Control operating temperature: Keep the operating temperature of the hydraulic system below 50°C to ensure stable oil pressure. Monitor system status: If any abnormality occurs in the system, the controller will issue an alarm and display a warning message. In this case, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting.
